Ahh aspergers, I have it, I loathe it. Its not exactly fun, knowing PERFECTLY WELL what you want, but being to socially awkward to be able to get it. The constant stream of words flowing through your head while having a conversation. The condecending way people treat you, like you're a child that doesnt fully understand no matter what you do. And love that will never go anywhere, as once you reach the 'cuddling, kisses, and no time apart' stage, it falls apart within days. Yeah, AS, tis hell.

Also I want to be able to walk the streets or drive my car without having to fear being abacinated from different kind of light sources. Also... I want to be able to be outside my house under the winter without needing to shut eyes for 15-20 min, before I'm able to see again. So my conclusion is that Asperger's syndrome is very real and it's something that can't be cured. Even though some symptoms can be down-sized and handled.
Teadon86 (August 18, 2008 at 7:18 am)
But you still have symptoms? Since they clearly states that Asperger's syndrome are a neurological condition and such can't be treated with pills or any kind of training. And btw how do you decide if you have it or not? To me it's something you can't decide to optain or not, it's something that's involuntary. I want to be able to be touched and to touch others without a feeling of discomfort and anxiety, but can't because of my disorder.

I "have" Asperger's syndrome and I've grown to overcome the "symptoms" of it to the point where I almost don't believe it's a disorder anymore.
Oh well.

I have it..one of my worst symptoms was to have outbursts..exactly like the one you just had..your letter is anti-social..pretty common to autism..I get stress onset "Tourette's"..and freak out the way you did..whether you have it or not is for you to decide..but it's the only dagnosis that makes sense for me..ocd, borderline, bipolar, schizoaffective, panic-anxiety, disassociative identity disorder, seizures..got em all..which is what autism encompasses..so put the brakes on that dirty mouth..
Teadon86 (August 16, 2008 at 8:17 pm)
Well this was a very cognitive post. Really. So you say. Well AS might not apply to you, as something else will, but your outburst dosen't alter the reality abit - thanks for that, really. The thing is that AS is very real even if it's a very hard diagnosis to put on a persons, since AS have symptoms that's quite normal for all of us. The thing that puts in the autistic spectra is all of its extrems and 'oddities' it alter a person. Like I can't really stand to look into a persons eye for 5 sec
