I live in Suffolk, VA. in a trailer park. I am so fortunate that it didn't touch down in here. Everything would ahve been gone. But it did hit very close to us in several areas. My husband is in the navy and he and about 8 of his guys went out to help the tornado victims today. He, our 2 teenagers and I are going to help tomorrow.

Great Commentary. Was this not an amazing day! Thank God, no one was killed. I just think about if this storm formed a little more east, my area in chesapeake could have been easily under the gun.

That is crazy...we're from Richmond but lived in Suffolk (on College Drive) when hubby was stationed at Port Ops but I can't ever recall ever really seeing a tornado there... I sure hope your home, family and friends are all okay....
