I can make an even better mod if I tried. It would probably have the same firing rate and probably more bullet patterns. Boss battles are a possibility, but I need to learn more GML.

I would have a talk with someone at GM and see if their's a way around this problem. Because I would love to see a project like this brought to completion.

I'd imagine you'd haft to shrink the hit-box considerably to match the new Danmuku style of play. this would be a bitch to do with GM I'd imagine. The sheer possibility's in trapping techniques that a competitive game like that could bring would be a beautiful sight to behold.
Too bad we may never get to see it. Well I guess theirs Senko No Ronde that games quite awesome although I don't like it quite as much as TSS.

I imagine you'd haft to shrink the hit-box quite a bit. But of course doing something like that with GM would be a bitch. The possibilities of different patterns that could be created in relation to the way and order the enemies on screen are destroyed would be astounding. I mean with a smaller hit-box and bullets it would allow for way more complex trapping methods then the original TSS had.

Hmm...that makes me wonder......make a GM programmed TSS game using MANIC attacks instead of just...plain...one...shot...that anyone...can...easily...dodge...and...yeah.
Shoot enemy. Launch [a] pod[s]. Shoot the hell out of your opponent with bullets.

Nope. This was a mod in development, but then thanks to Japanese typefacing, the coding got corrupted, ruining the parsing and killing the program.

You should do a manic Twinkle Star Sprites next.

Nice work. Is their a place were I can download this mod?

The source code stopped working when the Japanese came in. Game Maker obviously doesn't like it when I type in English using Japanese settings.
When I do so, it disorients the lining of the code, thus corrupting the compiling, making it impossible to parse the code.

Holy crap! That's a lot of coins! And bullets! @_@
...but what do you mean the source code quit working? Is it so awesome that it can't handle it? :o |
