Right, time for some clarity here I think everyone. India is obviously in asia, and was a key trade country with europe over the last 500 years. Explorers such as colombus and Francis Drake ventured west to find an easier route to india that didnt traverse round africa. They landed in the carribean, and mistakenly thought it was India, hence the name West Indies. It is not the same place, its actually on the other side of the world. Now lets let this nonsensicle argument die and enjoy the song
