i have to add that the film is so different to seeing it on stage... i saw it live in london west end in it's straight 21st year.... and there have been so many great christines it unbelievable and in my opinion sarah brightman has been one of the worst x

i already watched The Phantom of the Opera in Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada and it was really heart wrenching :( it made me cry... huhuhuhuhu the play was really nice! Hi! i'm Glee Nette, 10 y/o. I also sang this song at WCOPA 08 in Hollywood. Please do watch my video also :) please leave comment :) I really like this song hehe especially Emmy Rossum and Sarah Brightman they're my idol :)

Pandora, you're comparing an opera to a movie. I saw Phantom when it was still in Toronto live and it was great. I've also seen the movie, good adaptation for today's movies.

Emmy Rossum was an embarassment in this movie. Take a few moments to actually look up Sarah Brightman as the ORIGINAL Christine. Emmy is just...sad...compared to Sarah.

JiaBlackholesun: It's called a cadence. And that is also part of the stage version only it is used differently. It would be neccesary for her to do it if it is written that way on the score. But yes it is excellent too.
