What kind of car tells you how many more miles you've got left on a tank, but not the miles per gallon? If it tells you tank range, it should also tell you travel time, average speed and MPG at least. My car said 74 MPG which i thought was wrong, then i worked it out and it was right! 74 MPG is good i think but our fuel is around $9 to $14 a US gallon

Man, The only way to truely see how much you're saving, is to top off the tank to the max, then drive. then check your mileage and compare that to how many gallons you'll refill it until you max out the topping off.. do the math, and that's what you're going to be saving.

Wow, testing gas mileage using gas gauges. How inaccurate can you get? You need to top off the tank all the way to the top, then drive for a while, then top it off again and get the calculator out. Any other way is ridicules. |
