This looks as if it was videotaped from the KSC runway on the morning of January 28, 1986. Its the closest you can get to being there that day. This is what everyone from the ground actually saw, this is also understandable why they didn't understand what had happened initially. Its very haunting video.

1:10 into the video you can see the massive windshear that hit her. Scientific data points to that windshear as being the final blow to the already failing SRB joint.

You can really see the SRB gimbals trying to keep it on course on this one.

Who was the guy doing the count down? i have never heard his voice before. From this angle you can tell (by the contrail) that she was struggling. Such a tragedy.
