You have just made the case for Obama. I agree. Extraordinary lives. Obama raised by single caucasian mother from Kansas. A Kenyan father, raised also by his caucasian grandparents. As a child lived in different cultures. Wrote a book, easy read, "The Odasity of Hope". and has a magic formula for Change. I think we can now make better California wines than many of the French ones. That is change you can count on.

Yes, Sarkozy is so first-rate that he has low approval numbers similar to Bush's and the Socialists are now regaining key provinces in French elections. Newt just lives in a dreamworld where the stars on the American flag are replaced with dollar bills.

Just got a call from DC, from Gingrich staff-NO JOKE-wanting to offer his book free and autographed...something is up, This man wants to take Cheney's place....just wait...the call, all propaganda and 'Hillarese'-all the great things he could do, no discussion of how..but hey, it sounds good- wont most believe him?

I don't need to google, I lived through the welfare state. I remember people living in Chicago and having P.O. boxes in Wisconsin to collect welfare because it was so damn good. I remember going with my father to many of our neighbors who were on welfare, and saw them eating steak while sitting in brand new furniture. We kind of just laughed about it and voted Republican, like most of the country did. And things changed. I'll give Clinton and other moderates some credit for that too.

you guys work really hard for a guy that wont get out of the first round. I think that RP is a nice guy, but he cannot see a way through the war on terror other than 'let them bomb us as much as they want because we deserve it'. Isn't that line of thinking a little counter-productive?
