Beijing:Pakistan protested to Chinese officials about export of leather goods made of pig skins saying "this is an insult to all Muslims".Over USD 20 mil leather goods have been imported by Pakistan in two years from China.These include leather garments,belts, wallets and other miscellaneous items. Beijing refuses to confirm or deny these reports. Chinese manufacturing facilities process all kinds of animal skins and it is possible items made from pig leather have been shipped to Pakistan.

Commissar's got alot of truth in what he's saying, but there's is one big difference between NATO and the invasion by the USSR. The Soviets had popular opposition by the Afghans, whereas NATO forces are largely welcomed by the populace. Problem is, sensible Afghans are reluctant to risk their lives aiding NATO when they debate whether or not we're going to stick around to finish the job. A-stan is quite possibly the most challenging country on on earth to rebuild, yet this is their best chance.
