ELMER RIDENHOUR performs 1989
ELMER RIDENHOUR was a steel player of the old school, playing a spanish acoustic 6 string, often not using finger picks. Had a great sound. This video, from a bad angle unfortunately, has him doing a fine little number at the Bishop Museum in 1989, where the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Convention was being held. MC and r/guitar is George Lake, who put together some of these concerts during the period. Also note Bob Brozman and Merle Kekuku walking by now and again.
