i respect his playing i guess, i mean he is the highest payed sax player of all time or w.e. but his music isnt that amazing, its just kinda music for the masses, and also kenney g made a cd called what a wonderful world with him just dubbing himself in soloing over louis armstrongs music, and the album says kenny g on what a wonderful world, with louis armstrong like it was his album... what balls to look down upon the father of jazz

Beautiful super-market music, perfect between vegetables and meat...Or for a TV show. But if try to search for a real saxophone player, try one of these one : Sidney Bechet, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Ben webster, Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon,... who you want but not Kenny G.

Kenny G is an abomination aimed at aging white people that want to feel hip but have no idea what hip is. His improv is bland as hell, just riffing really. No creativity, no experimentation. Mr. G gives jazz a bad name

i know man chill out. i agree with you i dont know why they call it smooth jazz to me it sounds more like slow ballad or something but its still nice even though it isnt real jazz. i love real jazz as well.
