No, the cop's kid killed the cop. And it was School Days this subtituted for. Higurashi got a cooking show instead (I think). As for Mudkips, it came from a deviantArt message of inviting someone to join a Mudkip fan group. It sounded funny so it became abused.

This aired in place of an episode of Higurashi No Naku Koroni, something about a cops kid getting hacked up with an ax, and later on the producers were asked about that episode someone said, nice boat. It just kinda tok off from there. Now, does anyone know where "I heard you like Mudkips" came from
