I am performing this piece tomorrow morning for my HSC trials with the cellist and violinist too. I probably wont be able to immitate Sakamoto's brilliance, then again hopefully the examiners wont have seen this before and can be brought to something new..

I remember this as a young child and it has stayed with me since then. I even bought the CASSETTE of Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence starring David Bowie............ brilliant

You are so closed minded. Who cares race, skin color or where he comes from. I never understand someone who is proud of someone only because you were born in the same country or whatever. Open a little more your mind and try to look over the world. There are still a lot of great artists includes Japanese whom you can be proud of. Mr Sakamoto is exceptional in the way he got recognized by the world. Only few of the genius get reputation when he/she is alive.

That's true...with this song I knew,that relation I had for almost 3 years, had to finish soon... He played and I look directly to him... It was the last time I shared my feelings to a man who didn't love me, and broke many dreams inside of me... I also cry when I listen this beautiful melody...
