They broke up in 1980. When country artists got toegether to do a Tribute to the Eagles, the band Reformed. They appeared in the video For Take it Easy by Ttravis Tritt. Soon after, Hell Freezes Over, and the band is back after 14 years. Now the rest is history in the making.

That's a really nice thought. I'd like to see that happen too. But to quote Mr. Henley, that will probably happen when hell freezes over, unfortunately. =(

The Eagles broke up in 1980 and rejoined in 1994 for their "Hell Freezes Over" tour. They took a 14c yr vacation as they put it. Joe Walsh can play a turd guitar and he will rock!! The Eagles will always rock and be #1...Hotel California was #7 rock song of the last milleniium.

they broke up in the 90s and came back in 07 which came this album love this song in the bottom of my heart when i first heard it i kept on singing to how long rocks my heart along lol
