This is common in Australia... we keep sharks in the pool as pets and they swim with our kids... next weekend Sigfreid and Roy are coming over for a bbq and a swim with Whitey...lucky we have a big pool....

the story is entirely untrue. According to a spokesperson from the magazine, the "Shark Love Story" was published in the magazine two years ago as an April Fools joke. Apparently the joke story escaped the confines of the magazine and began circulating, first in French and later in the English version included here.
In fact, all the photographs used in the presentation were taken by South African marine biologists and shark experts, Michael C. Scholl and Thomas P.

Dude, If I wasn't a fisherman I'D LOVE TO HAVE A SHARK THAT WAS IN LOVE WITH ME ( I wouldn't date it but it'd still be cool to have a shark that follows you around and doesn't just want to eat your hand off)
