They were self taught street dancers lol, so they probably would have been on So You Think You Can Dance. Jazz is one of those things that's only "classy" in retrospect. It was something that only blacks did but eventually became mainstream and inspired other genres. Although it's WAAAAAY better and infinitely more sophisticated, it was the hip hop of it's time in a lot of ways.

Simply the best entertainment that you could lend your ears and eyes to! Cab Calloway's into was inspiring and the Nicholas Brothers knocked my damn socks off! Come on, this is what YouTube was made for... to appreciate the greatness of the human being in moving form!

One of my favourite scenes from this movie, (which I own on vhs, yay!)
i'm only 17, but i am still able to appreciate this style of music. just goes to show, this sorta stuff will always live on =p |
