At one time the main difference between democrats and republicans was simply republicans tended to favor business a little stronger and democrats favored pushing toward social issues and programs. You can not call president bush a republican he uses the party as a way to empower greed and hubris . He is focused on empowering corporations that eat up and destroy medium size and small business. I can not know the mans heart or mind but he seems to reason from a faulty set of premises.
