thank you.its not like a softball cant drop either(hello, drop balls).its also the mental aspect.the batter has less reaction time, and then u mix in pitches.softballs pretty hard
hmn1992 (August 19, 2008 at 8:19 pm)

dont forget that they used a baseball hitter for a softball pitcher they shoulda did the opposite as well

orlan54 your right. I play baseball and theres not only fastballs..they are many pitches ( curve, breaking, slider, changeup).Makes it really tough to hit.

I have nothing against softball but this clip is ridiculous. 1.) A softball has a greater mass than a baseball and the closer distance would decrease the time thus increasing acceleration, both of which would cause a greater force. 2.) Force does not determine the difficulty of hitting, velocity does. 3.) Softball has a greater diameter. 4.) The batter was used to baseball, why not a woman batter against a male pitcher? 5.) Softball batters still use gravity just don't lower their arms as much

when they had the ASU batter go against the baseball pitcher and Jenny, it did not give a real show of what sport is harder. The ASU batter has never tried to hit a softball pitcher. I want to see a softball player try to hit a baseball

i think a softball is harder to hit than a little league pitcher or whatever that person said.
