No I just downloaded the latest version when u have done this make sure you have the spelling set to English US for all to work.
make sure 3d is also turned on. I'm no expert but it worked for me

Go to tools, options, general, language.
You need to make sure that it is set to English US not English UK. before it will work you need to restart Google. It worked for me

Hi, I'm from the U.K. I've downloaded the latest version of Google Earth, but when I go on it there are no gold mickey ears to get it in 3D! What do I do?
