Ooh,this looks quite strange. I really need to get round to seeing all of Ewan's films just cos he's the best! I'm not sure why all those girls are cheering when he's kissing another girl, though.

The actual singer is Sanford Clark, and the record is "The Fool", flipside "Lonesome for a Letter" - I remember it cos I bought it at the time and still have the old EP. Clark was a good country singer who disappeared into the mists of time, unfortunately! Keep rockin'!

Yes, that was Ewan there looking sad while imagining himself on stage singing (as Elvis). But it was not his voice, he's lip-syncing.

no this is not his real voice.

Ok....I've never seen this show aside from clips on youtube. Can someone please explain to me a couple things? Like, is ewan on the stage singing and standing there looking sad? Also, is that him singing? It doesn't sound like him at all.

Released in 1956 on Dot Records, made the top 10 on the national chart. Al Casey on guitar, written and produced by Lee Hazelwood. Recorded in Phoenix AZ, drumming on a guitar case for that 'sound'.
