He's just mad because he's poor and can't afford a superior OS like windows.

The vast majority of open-source projects involve a small number of developers. These projects typically depend on intensive communication and the persuasiveness of the de facto project leader to coordinate the work of the group. What is distinctive about these governance structures is the notion that there is no hierarchy in the division of labour lies at the heart of the open-source process.

He can survive customizing, modifying and selling the software itself, teaching its use, writing manuals or setting up value added services to the software commerce.

Which are the benefits of the free software for a programmer? If the software is free how a developer can survive?

Before I saw this, all I knew about the way Stallman looked was what I'd seen in xkcd. Of course I knew who he WAS. I'd just always pictured him as an ascetically thin, almost Gandhi-like man, with a long beard and hair.
