yes for that price you could get a much faster Porsche 911 GT3 but again the Porsche is built for a totally different purpose provide sport and racing performance with not so many luxury features this is luxury performance; not as fast as other cars but still moves along very well but alot more luxury features then Porsche as the Porsche is straight forward performance no compromises at all in, this on does compromise in performance a bit but it offers alot more luxury

who cares if a Subaru STI is faster it's built for a totally different purpose and in all honesty this car looks waaaay better then the Subaru

ok, the point of this car is a luxury sports car touring turismo you don't really but this to go super fast in although 177mph is plenty of speed if if u consider u won't be driving much more then 70mph maybe more if u have to pass someone. You but this car for the same reason you would get a Mercedes or a Bentley; you want performance but not overkill but you want more luxury then performance which this has

...For £78k I would want it to do 0-60 quicker than 5.2 seconds. For a quarter of the price I could get a Subaru STi that would out gun this with ease(4.8) A TVR would piss over this too, with a bit more luxury than an STi and still be half the price of a Maserati and be better looking too!!

Correction 399 hp. If it had been an S I would have lost, I don't deny that. I dont understand why people get so defensive.

No I haven't considered that as I talked to the owner of that car and he complimented my car and asked for a rematch. Im sure he did that just to 'toy' with me and watch me pull away. Here are the specs of the car I raced: Engine: 4.2 L (259 cu in) V8 Power:(399 hp) at 7,100 rpm Torque:(339 lb·ft) at 4,750 rpm 0-60: 5.2 secs 1/4: 13.4 secs This was not the 'S' model and 4000 lbs with only 339 hp will not keep up with my 3300 lb car with 315 hp. Sorry but keep dreaming.

have you ever considered that he was toying with you the whole time putting it to like 5000 rpms and then laughing to himself about the joker that thought his z28 could keep up. hahaha. dont even compare the two cars.
