sorry..I am so sick of all these people...CREOLES COME IN ALL SHADES...like I said...I am a cane river creole..my mom is dark and most of her siblings are light...SKIN SHADE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT...it's more cultural..DUH...you can be super dark or super light and still be creole...IT'S CULTURAL...we all have our gumbos, jumbalayas, and etouffees at CHRISTMAS AND THANKSGIVING...there are some lighter creoles who deny their black heritage, and I pity them...at the end of the day..most creoles

I respect Bee's talent and hard work, but this song is straight IGNORANCE. Creole, redbone, etc is just a way of light skin blacks tryna sound superior to dark skin blacks. That ol slave mentality is there. BLACK IS BLACK-and its BEAUTIFUL. No matter how we try to divide ourselves, other races see us as black regardless. Dont get it twisted.

HOLD UP HOLD UP!!! First of all CREOLE isnt a race or a group of ppl, CREOLE is a language that Haitians speak. Im Haitian and I speak Creole...like Cubans speak spanish, Americans speak English...HAITIANS SPEAK CREOLE!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yeah...SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE YOU GUYS..my grandfather was dark and my grandmother was light..AND BOTH SPOKE FRENCH AND BOTH CONSIDERED THEMSELVES CREOLE..CREOLE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH SKIN COLOR...just ANCESTRY..DUH!! but most of us consider ourselves BLACK!!

WRONG,WRONG,WRONG I am a cane river creole and we come in all shades..kind of like latinos!!!I am brown skinned..my mother is brown..but we have cousins and sisters who come out with lighter and darker shades..BUT WE ARE ALL CREOLE..and BLACK so...please..you non-louisianers..stop the bullshit
