See I was into Imogen Heap before i even heard of Frou Frou so I kinda knew it was a girl anyway, but I think I can see where ppl are coming from though, I think it is the falsetto usage

I always thought it was a guy too, but I can't figure out why. Her range is obviously a girl's....maybe because she sings the high notes in falsetto so it seems more like a guy?

Well it's easy to mistake for a man at the beginning of the song. Especially if you listen to Japanese bands because a lot of them can sound like girls but theyre guys and vice versa.
