Nice to see the video that goes with all of the Original (yes, I said ORIGINAL) Stillwater songs.
There were 3 Albums in total, Stillwater - Stillwater, Stillwater - Farrington Road, and Stillwater - I Reserve The Right. Three more songs and I have all 3 complete albums, and it only took me 6 years so far!

actually, it isn't.
The band in the movie isn't really based on anyone. Cameron Crowe, the director and writer, used his own experiences as a writer for Rolling Stone when he travelled with The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
But Crowe approached Stillwater (the REAL band) and asked if they could use their music in the movie, but it didn't end up happening.
