Yes, we are winning according to the polls, but these polls are based only on verbal responses and then statistically skewed to the registered voters of each party. This is a rather ridiculous statement: explain to me how putting kids to work cleaning streets and supporting infrastructure development is somehow a social loss.

Isn't that what America is all about? Working hard for what we have? I got the Pell grant because my husband is in the military and our taxed income toggles the POVERTY LINE! I would gladly volunteer somewhere in order to give something back. People that pay for their college with their own money will not have to volunteer... what the HECK were YOU thinking? Or were you really not thinking at all!?!?!?!

Fisa was NOT a flip-flop. This just shows how much people actually PAY ATTENTION. Of course he does not completely agree with the "complete description" of the FISA bill. However, there must be a compromise in order to get certain aspects accomplished. That's what TRUE bipartisanship consists of; the American people just aren't USED to it yet. And guess what? The government already pays for MANY people's college education (for free); Obama is requiring those who get grants to work for it.
