Sasha doesn't beat Shizuka in every way. Shizuka had triple/triples while Sasha had none. Shizuka had better speed, edges, and ice coverage. Shizuka has a true lutz while Sasha flutzes. Shizuka's choreography was superior in 2004 compared to Sasha's.

I think Sasha's SP was gorgeous (although my favorite was Carolina Kostner's) but you can't play the Williams sisters (tennis)argument with Sasha, that 'when they're on' they'd beat everyone, cause Sasha has never been 100% on, she's always blown something. And I find her jump takeoffs very rushed and sometimes cause her to fall. Luckily Arakawa backed it up in the long.

I agree!!! Shuzuka proved to be so much better a skater in the Winter Olympics 2006. Cohen fell repeatedly - what do you think -the judges were fools?? Cohen would have won IF she deserved it -obviously NOT!!!

she is amazing, her technique ad her artistery. Cohen isn't even close to comparison. Cohen's techniqe is in the shadow of arakawa who has triple-triple with borth height an power.

Cohen didn't do her best in the long program, but non the less, she's a hundred times superior than Arakawa, and with her short program alone, Cohen should've placed so far from Arakawa, that even with a not perfect Long, she should've won here. Sasha excels Shisuka in every way!
