This may sound kind of lame, but I'm really grateful I've had the opportunity to watch such a brilliant show. It was an absolute masterpiece and this is the perfect ending.

Its been 3 years since this finale first aired on HBO...I can't believe its been that long

OMG.. I just finished watching the Series.. I cried like a baby.. I too felt like they were part of my family..I know its just a Tv Show, but it has made such an impression in me.....

Althoug I watched this ending 2 or more years ago I still remember it... It touched me really inside!! As someone said before, more than a show it was an experience (a great experience!!!), and I feel happy for having lived it. The best show on TV I have ever seen. My congratulations to all the people who made it possible. Thank you so much!!!

I know the feeling...it was like that. That night,August 28th ,2005 when the finale aired on HBO for the first time, I got through the montage without going into the fetal position (but just barely)...its was just a show...but it felt like someone had died. I taped all the episodes and spin the whole series up every 3 or 4 months.

I know, right? I cried like a baby when I saw it then shut off the DVD and cried some more. I felt like my entire family had just died. It was really heart-wrenching because in the several years I watched this series, I felt like each one of the cast became a friend or family. This was such a great series. I wish they'd do a reprise or reunion.
