c'mon kids lets not argue, its comedy, its not about religion, it doesnt defame anyone, and it isnt meant to hurt anyones feelings, so........drop it, no one needs to fight anyway, thats what starts wars, and we all know that no one needs that, not now, now when everyone is weak and weary from whats going on in the world right now. so for the sake of everyone.......just go your separate ways.

Those are two different things: God has no prejudice against any person, so if one person is as just and holy as another, God realizes that they are just as good as each other, however, the Israelites, and after Jesus, Christians, are sort-of "special" sons, who are given a special responsibility of being a light to the world; in Old Testament times, this meant to show the power of God by conquering other nations in his name, and after Jesus, to show the justice and mercy of God by good lives

Argh... look, all of you people: you're all wrong, and you're all right. Nothing is entirely anything, and everything is more than one thing, which is why there is so much room for interpretation and, alas, argument. If Jesus was still alive today and came to see how much strife was caused by people arguing about him and his fellow religious deity-figures, I think he would be deeply saddened, I really do. Religion is meant to unify, but all it seems to do these days is divide.
