Well, you're sorta right, and sorta wrong. I agree that yes, he used the same topics and in some places mixed the punchline up a little bit to show originality. however, paraphrasing does still count as stealing a joke. Now do I think Dennis Leary stole his jokes? My answer is maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. Either way he's got plenty of his own jokes to be recognized as another funny dying asshole. And by the way they both really are assholes so saying Leary stole Hick's persona is just bullshit

Some of you need to get a clue. Leary did not steal from anyone, and the smoking thing, come on now. Andrew Dice Clay did it before both of them, so did Hicks still his act from Clay? You might want to go look up Andrew Dice Clay since you can say Hicks stole from him.
