SNES Gradius III - Level 1

Konami outdone themselves. Jumping from Gradius II from the NES (one of the best games ever made on the system, btw) to this SNES outing was pure bliss. True, the game has slowdowns (much like some early SNES titles), wich in fact, help with the gameplay on crowded levels. Very nice "powerup edit" mode as well, this was the best Gradius for me, until they made Gradius Advance for the GBA and Gradius V on PS2 (can't decide from those two wich one is the best). I also recommend the anime, if you haven't seen it already. I was a bit sad this was the only Gradius to hit the SNES, but there were another great Konami series "Gradius spinoff" that hit the system soon after... Update: Out now on Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console. Europena Update: Will be released on September 28th 2007 on European Wii VC as part of the Hanabi Festival Sci-fi Wekk.

No, because I played this game a lot when I was young. We obviously didn't have Gradius V back then. Can you imagine how this was back in 1991?

I believe that in addition to the Vic Viper, there is also a red space ship call the Lord-B (which occording to what I've read, it stands for Lord British). However, I'm making a game of my own which will use that ships sprites, and I want to know which is the more common way of seeing the spaceship named in the actual Gradius game (such as on character select screens), not in the manual or on websits. Is it more common to see it called Lord-B? Or is it more common to see it called Lord British?
