Uhh, I was 11 in '79 when "Dynasty" came out. That wasn't what led to the decline. "Elder" was what really did it. It sucked, Ace knew it, which helped lead to him leaving. Poor Vinnie made too many bad choices in life. He can play guitar, but lacked knowledge in business matters. Gene Simmons, a college graduate, had VV outclassed in management techniques. He stuck it to Vinnie, who would continue to have his skills being exploited by others.

KISS' collapse had nothing to with VV. It was because of their 1979 album "Dynasty" which contained disco themed songs that caused their popularity to drop. Get your facts right before you go blaming VV.

Oh that's right...they could only do CLUBS and low budget TV shows. Listen to any album after Love Gun before Creatured....all SHIT! The best two albums in their catalogue back to back are Creatures, and Lick it Up...all thanks to VV. He may be an ass, or a head case, but he can write better than anything they could...TOOL!
