Being an atheist, I doubt it. But I appreciate the sentiment! :P

Oh yeah, I talk to him at least once a week and never end the call without telling him I love him. He just got out of the hospital the other day for an infection in his leg. I was torn up because I'm not near where my folks live. I've got to figure that our fathers do in the end know how much they mean to us by the people we turn out to be.

I hope that you"ve told this to your father, don"t assume that he knows. I lost my Dad at Christmas 2001 and regret that I never told him how much I appreciated all he did for me and got to tell him how sorry I was for all the trouble grief I gave him when I was growing up

This song has special meaning to me, as I lost my father to lung cancer in Feb. 1987, a month before my twin sons were born. Since then, my sister, a nephew, a brother, my mother, my sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law have passed away. I know all to well how important it is to say those little things that mean so much to someone, especially just saying how much they mean to you, because you just might not have the chance again. Cherish each day you're given!
