I went through some issues with my nervous system, too. Trembling, and what felt like pin-stabs in various spots. Since stabilizing at 15mg I developed your symptom. An EMG done by a neurologist showed carpal tunnel. If it's your first two fingers and thumb, carpal tunnel does start there. It's not serious.

I'm appalled to hear peoples stories about these drugs.These companies are if not legally,then certainly morally criminal.I hope everyone's plight is a success.I'm fortunate that I read your comments as I was contemplating using anti depression meds.Good luck to all.

i have been having alot of side effects since ive stoped ,like the shocks and all , but now i got a new one ...the tips of my fingers are always numb ,, i was wondering if someone had the same effect ,, please tell me if you got that ,so i can stop worrying about it .

I'm currently taking paxil for the third time in order to treat panic disorder.For me this drug has been a boon.My panic attacks were catastrophic,I litterally became a nervous wreck.Paxil alleviated my symptoms and allowed me to return to my active lifestyle.I gradually decreased doses and had no ill effects on two prior occasions,however within six months the panic symptoms would resurface.For me the choice has been easy the drug has provided much relief,I'm sorry that others have suffered

True that. I started taking paxil 10mg around may. Then a couple of days ago i noticed that it stopped working on me and i was as depressed as i was before. Last monday (not this one) i halfed my dosage to 5mg and then completely quit Saturday. But... I started to have the side affects that they describe. A couple of hours ago i took 5mg of paxil. And i hope to slowly come off of it so i can handle the side affects of w/d
