You hit it right on the nail. Metallica used to be bad ass. Then they got commercial. Testament is straight up hard core.

always preferred testament than metallica, seen them both live and testament I feel aren't up themselves. For testament it's not trying to please the mainstream media or money, it's about doing something they enjoy and having a good time.

Both Testament and Metallica are great bands and both extremely talented, Metallica just... mmm... I'm not sure what they did, but I'm thinking that the new album will bring them back to what they once were. I can't really explain why Metallica became mainstream, well at least as mainstream as metal can get, and Testament didn't. Testament is just as good as Metallica and right now, better. The fact that they are still sticking to their roots and going strong makes them more... respected.

Testament is so great, their songs are melodic but also heavys, now... Metallica's song for me are way better, is just an opinion, I know that right now Metallica is known by very much people, but that 'cause they songs are great! and also 'cause they now play more like-rock music xD Dragon Force only play faster, not better. But they also have good songs, and yes 4 me too the old metal us waaay better =) Sorry 4 my english, i am from colombia

Ehm...actually they play much better...Faster, more melodic. Look at children of bodom, dream theater, steve vai, yngwie malmsteen, satriani...Besides, the old bands are still kicking. Metallica's new album is gonna be like something between MoP and AJFA, Slayer's new album should pwn too. Metal will never die \m/

I agree with your comment that metal of today is not of the same caliber of yesteryear. They don't play as well, don't sing as well, melodies and hooks nonexistent, it's all headbanging bullshit, like the white man finally fired back for rap.

Relly Nice song, i think this is much better then One,Unforgiven, Nothin else...with Metallica, everyone listens to Metallicas songs, so now u can hear it everywear and its getting boring, this is so much better, and u dont have to hear it everywear, Srry for my english..iam swedish xD
