your green spotted puffer seems to be puffing at the moment, either that or you are feeding it too much which will shorten up the lifespan, ur green spotted seems to me like its puffing, its way to round and looks to be puffing from your porcupine, besides green spotted are brackish, not fully salt water like your tang and porcupine, this can shorten up lifespan, they are brackish because they live by where fresh and saltwater meets, they are not pure salt but needs only a little. brackish plz.

A Tang will never get that big in an aquarium under 300g. I have had my Sailfin in a 40g breeder for a year and he's only 3in. and doing great. He would be fine for atleast another year, but I plan to upgrade to a 120 anyway. You guys shouldn't believe what you read so much. As long as the Tang is small when you get it they can be kept in small tanks, even Nano reefs and do fine.

how big can the green spotted puffer grow??

Desjardini's can live to around 15 years and can grow to 18", yes 18". You could keep a tang in a 60gal for a brief period of time, but soon it would become unhealthy for them. Recommended tank size for a Desjardini is 180gal. I think even a 180 will stunt their growth to a point.

We have had the GSP for over a year and he was a couple years old before we got him.
