Batman's swooped past Spidey and claimed title to the king of Hollywood's box-office superheroes.Studio estimates show that 'The Dark Knight' took in a record 155-point-three million dollars its first weekend. Thanks foir the warning about Hellboy. The comic was cool, and the first film was ok but I wasn't sold on the idea of a sequel. I can't help but think that part of the success of The Dark Knight (A great film, not movie,FILM) was that it elimanated "Batman" from it's title.

FIRST OF ALL ITS BEEN REPORTED THAT BATMAN SOLD MORE THAN SPIDERAN 3. Second of all. Its beeing reported that TDK may dethrone Titinac as the biggest film in north america. Ad if it doesn't, it'll easily be the 2nd biggest film

Hellboy 2 opened with an estimated $35.9 million ranking first at the box office and in its second week Hellboy II's box office performance dropped 71% to gross $10.1 million. Dammit I feel sorry for Hellboy. It was owning until TDK came along.

Even though it is doing very well, I don't know. I mean, it has only made 65 million worldwide as of now. The domestic gross may be awesome, but the worldwide is something to be desired. I wonder, though, if only a couple countries have it. All I am saying is people should just stop the hooplah with the box office and Titanic. Titanic isn't even the highest grossing. Gone with the Wind is when you factor things in. Even then, if TDK beats Titanic here, what about over seas?
