Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve

Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson understood "The Monster". But to most Americans today, Federal Reserve is just a name on the dollar bill. They have no idea of what the central bank does to the economy, or to their own economic lives; of how and why it was founded and operates; or of the sound money and banking that could end the statism, inflation, and business cycles that the Fed generates. Dedicated to Murray N. Rothbard, steeped in American history and Austrian economics, and featuring Ron Paul, Joseph Salerno, Hans Hoppe, and Lew Rockwell, this extraordinary new film is the clearest, most compelling explanation ever offered of the Fed, and why curbing it must be our first priority. Alan Greenspan is not, we're told, happy about this 42-minute blockbuster. Watch it, and you'll understand why. This is economics and history as they are meant to be: fascinating, informative, and motivating. This movie could change America.

'They' have the power? Do you mean Charles Prince, for example, the fired CEO of Citigroup who lost hundreds of billions in the SubPrime/Securitization meltdown? Citigroup needed a bailout from a Dubai Sovereign Wealth Fund to stay afloat. So much for that International Jewish Banker cabal. It's the International Muslim Banker cabal now. So much for the Rothschilds.

about the NWO,who knows if that's what the banking industry is up to?all i know is that they sure is hell have the power, and people in that position usually always have the immorality, and probly sure are willing,so what's stopping u from considering it?all i know is that it's pretty damn clear their ruining the dollar and picking away at the economy to make themselves richer.if u can't at least believe powerful men are guilty of intentionally doing an act like that, then u sure are optimistic
itzahazylife (August 30, 2008 at 3:47 am)
i never mentioned a secret plan...what the hell are u talking about?...look the federal reserve has the ability to sell paper money not backed by anything, meaning they can print however much money they want, and sell off that money to the government...their in the counterfeit business with hardly any regulation from anybody...they don't allow any taping of their meetings..what makes u think u NEED a smoking gun in order to believe they are selling out our country to make themselves rich?

oh come on...the video obviously favors the gold standard...how are u seeing any different?

Printing money out of thin air is a criminal act in my book. If you understand fractional reserve banking you will not feel sorry for the banks that are "losing money." Pyramid schemes tend to end badly.

(i'm no nwo guy btw) I think the criminal intent is quite obvious, these guys have a job that wouldn't exist on a free market. They are fractional reserve bankers. They can only survive if they have a lender of last resort..that's why they built the federal reserve. But this of course made the system even worse because it leads to incredible moral hazard, they can't 'fail' anymore. The federal reserve will always bail them out.

No, I'm making an ass out of you by mocking your NWO lunacy ('Jeckyll Island'). You believe there's a sinister plan as indicted by your 'isn't really a secret' comment. Where's the smoking gun that proves the criminal intent? Congress may be corrupt for bailing out mortgagors and lenders, but the Fed in trying to avoid a larger financial collapse probably did the right thing. Cartelized banking system? These banks lost hundreds of billions collectively. Some cartel.

lol ur making an ass outta urself...what does this video have to do with satanic illuminati meetings?..and when did i ever even mention that in my comment to u?...u need to redirect the word dellusional towards urself...all my comment was suggesting, was that the federal reserve and congress are corrupt, and no matter what rules and regulations u wanna say they have set up for these elite groups, they are meaningless in the higharchy of big government and the federal reserve..that's reality
averageworkinggal (August 29, 2008 at 6:22 pm)
I've seen all the lunatic fringe conspiracy theory propaganda about the Fed.
j4ck2234 (August 29, 2008 at 2:15 pm)
lol looks like the counterrevolution is even more jewish. (rothbard, mises, rockwell) Btw what do you mean by paper trail? This stuff isn't really a secret. All this is about gold wich is free market money and on the other side a cartelized banking system which encourages moral hazard. You don't need to believe in conspiracies to hate the system. -although there was a secret meeting with false moustaches and shit. look it up at wikipedia 'jekyll island' The Island Club even brags about it.
