beating is just instilling fear, which is a common method to negatively reinforce. fear is a method many people in history have used to control. on top of it, it's a stand up comedy, if you don't like it, piss off. others of us'd like to enjoy it without some liberal prick saying unjustified garbage. and seriously, grow up, hmm? it's the web, you're picking a fight with a 12-year old. grow the f up and tell it to someone who cares

it's called reinforcement, there's positive and negative. if a kid gets an A in his class, his parents encourage him, congratulate, etc. all to give the message that it is good thing, and he should do it again. if he starts drawing on walls, his parents have to send a message across to the kid that this is bad, and he shouldn't do it anymore.
