well, say that you want to dive to your left to smother/slide against the forward, shift or lean your body weight towards your left (while you are running full tilt at the striker of course) put your left foot in front of you dive to your left. if you can,try to use either one of your legs to push urself forwards to follow through (which is important) and dont close your eyes. this needs practice. gd luck. and btw great vid

skottadirr, the jump before the shot is god technique. its a "new school" way to get set before the shot. staying on your feet can actually be a disadvantage, you get set to early and can get caught ball watching. This is a nice vid, you're a strong keeper

good luck to you, Your a great keeper!

i have one little tip, before every shot you jump up and forward a little bit, try to stand with booth feets on the ground when the shots come it will give you more time to react. And try to avoid rotation of your body even more than now, then you reach a few centimeters longer.. is just small things but you were great i must admit keep it up (Y) That's what i had learn from my trainer in the Swedish u-16 national team and i don't know if your trainer say anything else

Cheers mate. After spending a lot of time in germany and being out of luck I've decided to stop looking in europe and go back to my native Australia. I will be looking at doing some coaching there also.
