the hadith of Abu 'l-Hayyaj al-Asadi whom Ali ibn Abi Talib asked:
"Should I not commission you with a duty with which the Messenger of Allah had commissioned me-to leave no statue but to crush it, and no grave raised above the surface of the ground but to level it down?"

there are two types of tawassul The permitted one is by means of faith and righteous deeds and the Glorious Names of Allah and his attributes. The prohibited one is entreaty using the name of the Messenger, pious people and saints. Here is what Allah the Exalted says: "O you who believe! Be mindful of your duty towards Allah and seek the means of approach and strive in His cause as much as you can so that you may be successful." Al Quran5:35

Setting up intermediaries between oneself and Allaah, making supplication to them, asking their intercession with Allaah, and placing ones trust in them is unbelief (kufr).
may ALLAH help you to understand pure Islam because Islam is so easy you just have to ask from ALLAH he is the sustainer only....

Truly, whosoever sets up partners with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden the Garden for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers." (Soorah Al-Maa'ida 5:72)

It is authentically reported that the Prophet said:
"Whoever said: "Laa ilaaha illallaah," and rejected all that is worshipped besides Allah , (know that) Allah has forbidden the taking of his property and the spilling of his blood; and his account will be for Allah, the Almighty, the All-powerful.

And amongst mankind are those who take [for worship] others besides Allah, as equals [with Allah]: They love them as they should love Allah. And those who believe love Allah more [than anything else]. If only the wrongdoers could see, behold, they would see the punishment: That to Allah belongs all power, and Allah is Stern in punishment" (Qur'an 2:165)

And warn by it, those who fear to be gathered to their Lord: Besides Him they will have no protector nor intercessor: That they may become pious, God-fearing" (Qur'an 6:51)
yes there is intercession but whom ALLAH permitts at a certain period of time for example Prophet(pbuh) will interceed for muslims on the day of judgement but it doesnt mean that we can ask ALLAH on his name we can ask ALLAH directly....

a bedoin came to Prophet(pbuh) and asked to interceed from ALLAH for rain the Prophet (pbuh) said.
"Subhaan Allaah!Subhaan Allaah!" He continued to do so until the effect of it was apparent in the faces of his Companions. Then he said:"Woe to you!Do you not know Who Allah is?Allah's Sublimity is far greater than that! There is no intercession of Allah upon anyone."Narrated by Abu Dawood). |
