Concert of Orff's Iranian young girls in Tehran Henry Purcell Last year I was in Iran for an exhibition project in Iran. It was also third time that I visited my family after I left this country. Arghawan, my niece told me that she is learning violoncello. I was very surprised and I find it fantastic not joust because of that in my family a girl is doing something special but also that in Iran young girls cannot do everything what they want. I Iran some music collages work with Carl Orff' system for learning music for children. She is playing in a big Carl Orff's orchestra. The children of this group are in age between 5 and 16. She invited me for a concert of her class. Unfortunately it was not permitted to take pictures or movies. I tried with my digital camera and control tried to keep my camera. Anyway I got a short shooting. I would like share this moment of my enjoyment with everyone. You should remember that the point of this movie is that in Iran girls has not possibly like the girls in Western or any free countries. I don't like speak about politic in my blog, but we can not forget it that Mullah's regime are doing all for stop activities like this in Iran, particularly for girls. I hope you will enjoy this like me.
