I want to get the dvds, the narrator is interesting but can be really irritating at times when I just want to watch Tamasaburo-sama. The dvds are sooo expensive though damn.

This is great...first time I'm seeing kabuki! Reminds me in some ways of classical Indian dance, such as the classification of the heroine and the metaphors and themes...very lovely. And costume changes are cool! I hope to catch a performance live one day!
