CHARGED BY A TIGRESS -Part 1

Details below.This is for those interested in Wildlife and Tigers.No, sorry it doesnt actually show the Tigress that charged me!However shows events leading up to charge.Lots of jungle sounds as well.Incidentally I dont advise checking out a Tiger kill on foot and alone, as was the case here, unless you know what you are doing and have plenty of experience...This Tigress charged because unknown to me she had a subadult female cub with her-I later saw the tracks.If charged stand your ground or back off but never turn and run-then you become prey....This was all filmed on Boar Riverbed 30 kms from Corbett Park close to CAMPCORBETT,KALADHUNGI-1km North of Corbett museum, Kaladhungi which is where Jim Corbett used to live.(More info www.blazeatrailadventures.com).Its a great place to stay and although villagers use the Forest by day, the Wildlife is still around.'Sequence of Events' 1)Tiger claw marks on tree 2)Boar Riverbed and Pugmarks of Tigress 3)Morning-dead Buffalo with head partly eaten 4)Same afternoon-Buffalo dragged a few yards and rump eaten 5)More Pugmarks 6)Sambhar running away from Tigress(hidden) and Kakar 'alarm calls'7)Dawn, next morning-a little later,more tracks,the area,bushes and bird calls from kill area 8)Buffalo dragged again and huge meal eaten & retreating after charge-1 sec bushes 9)At Camp Corbett recounting what happened when I was charged, then later that afternoon.Cnt-part 2.
