I got that feeling too. It puts me in the mind of "Betcha By Golly, Wow" by The Stylistics. Not an exact copy but similar in my opinion. I think Eric's got a hit with this one.

I really like this song but I know I've heard this song before. The chorus, I know I've heard this chorus. It was sung by a group in the 70's. I just can't remember right now.
