That's a good point. The weight of all of those stacked pots...yep, it probably would have been the end of them. I bet they were shitting bricks there until the boat righted. Proof positive that the Bering is the most unforgiving miserable bitch in the world.

That is one of my surfing buddies who was filming, i am stoked that he is alive, he said if they had all the pots (crab cages) on board, it would have been too top heavy and the boat would have definitely flipped and they all would have been dead. Good Times! THATS why king crab is so expensive. ..
