yes, but with the bullet traveling at only one half to a third of its speed, the effect would be similar to a 12 gauge slug glancing, most likely a lovely scar and a concussion, though he seemed awfully alert for being hit in the head.

POSTAL SCRIP you don't have to be in the army to be logic . i know more about bullets then most humans from the 55.6 to the 50 cal and yes most bullets will take a nice size chuck out of your head if you get hit in it .. here comes the postal scrip part im joining the marines the army is full of pansy's

hey,who gives a fuck what sniper he was using. just about any sniper bullet 2 tha head will take a fucking chunk off. and a bullet is a bullet,regardless of the gun,hes incredibly lucky 2 b alive

people should take physics classes rather than play video games...seriously. While the .50 will take off limbs if it is a direct hit. The bullet bounced twice, lowering the velocity significantly. The round was probably going about 1000-1500 fps at the time of impact, about the same as a 12guage slug. This man is lucky to be alive.
PS. It would only penetrate iron targets if it is an armor-piercing rounds, which he was not using, obviously.

lol I had to click rapidly on the pause button to see the bullet kicking up dirt but holy shit he was so close to dying in less then halve a second if it hit his head. dang wonder what the chances are of that happening again 1/1000 lol he should try his luck at the casino or lottery since he had the luck to survive that.

ummm dude if you keep pausing rapidly you can see the impact of the force adn when it comes back you can see it kicking up dirt. lol you can't make this stuff up plus it would be logicly for it to bounce back because he's shooting at a hill and I think they do say they're shooting iron. That's why you never play with .50 cals close to hills lol. |
