Too bad the enviroNazis banned DDT-it killed the little suckers. The campaign to discredit DDT was based on junk science, lies, and fabrication. DDT is still legal in many parts of the world. DDT could save millions of lives from malaria and other infections, not to mention sending the little bedbug back to near-extinction. Write your senators and congressmen and members of parliament and demand the legalization of DDT.

On the advice of the exterminator that sprays were I work, we got a steamer. Works ok. But there is a side benefit. Hot steaming those bugs is great revenge. You have to steam twice a week for a long time.
