Eurovision's golden age, when it was really a song contest compared to what it has become nowadays, dance routines and crappy cheapy mocks, whith very little exceptions I must admit. Luckily we can still enjoy these past jewels thanks to youtube...

Absolutely gorgeous song, can't believe it didn't win. This is another of those situations in which the best song didn't get the recognition it deserved (like Italy 1958 or Spain 1973). I also like Sandy Shaw, specially her early career songs and 'Puppet..' isn't the best song to apreciate her talent. Fortunately, time has given these great songs their place in music history they rightly deserve. |
