hmm, but the red army was the first in berlin in 30/04/45, because ike didn't want 100.000 dead soldiers more! the german army has lost 90% of his personal in the eastern front! it was hell for them! so you think, the amies would have an easy game against the red army? only the atomic bomb would help! and patton made a lot of mistakes (this is in the human nature, normal)! THINK PEACEFULLY. ike did it and fired patton in 09/45! it was a right decision!

Your grasp on history and reality tells me that need medication and counseling. The US would have rolled thru the Reds in '45 like a hot knife thru butter. You know why? We had the bomb- Our industrial base was safe in the heart land. Our Airforce was the largest in the world. Also the Reds depended on us for munitions. Patton would not have repeated the mistakes of Germany and France- It would have been a fight but the victory would have fallen to the US and Allies

you think that you are living in usa with freedom?? you live in fear everyday, and i saw that in my last visit there! everywhere police, cameras, controls... for a world like these has fight also this idiot! WITH A LOT OF ARMY, ARTILLERY, AEROPLANES, SHIPS, COURAGE AND COWBOYS - SOLDIERS IT WAS EASY TO WIN! HE SAID AFTER ONE BATTLE WITH A LOT OF DEAD AMY SOLDIERS: GREAT, THAT'S THE WAY I LIKE IT! SAY THAT TO ONE MOTHER/WIFE, WHO HAS LOST HER BOY/HUSBAND THERE.. SIMPLY IDIOTY AND NO HUMANITY!

Patton was a great general. His troops accomplished more, and suffered lower casualties than did those of any of his contemporaries. (Anyone who says the German Army did not have any fight left by 1944 knows nothing of history) Patton had a hot temper and very unPC views (You criticize him if you like- ironic, since he fought for a world where freedom of expression exists)- but only a FOOL would overlook his courage, skill, and devotion to his men.

i think we are living in a free world with democracy! why i do not have the right to critizes something??? this guy was crazy and to start one war against the red army in 1945.... ha ha, a big joke, there was not a chance to win! also ike fired him in autumn 1945! not bad for your hero, he???

You know Patton,wanted to push into Russia after WW2 and stop Comunism.But the people in charge wanted peace.Guess what happened PS unless your American,a general in the military,or a world reknown historian.YOu have no right to critizes Paton,I doubt you would have don any better!

a good general says never, when he sees 200 dead soldiers from his side (americans)after a battle: great , that's the way i like it! when patton was a good general, what about alexander the great, rommel, zukov?? to fight against one army, who has no personal, no courage, who knows that was not a chance to win, it is easy! he has a lot of personal, weapons, aircraft etc. IT WAS EASY FOR HIM TO WIN!
